Get Involved with PPIE
PPIE Ambassadors – PPIE draws on a vibrant group of parents to serve as liaisons between PPIE and our schools. Our Ambassadors convey PPIE updates to school PTA/PTSA/PFC and newsletters; represent PPIE at selected school functions; share school information to PPIE; and support occasional special projects.
Volunteers – We have a broad range of volunteer opportunities that build on your strengths, enable you to foster community building, and support our schools. Opportunities include:
- School Outreach – share and promote PPIE at school sites. Staff PPIE table at school-wide events (Kinder meet and greets, school fairs, etc.)
- Pleasanton Run for Education – help with our annual run, which attracts 3,000+ people and is our signature, fun-filled community event.
- Fall Gala – help with our annual fall fundraiser. Activities include both pre-planning and on-site gala support.
- Special assignments – Social media support, and other project opportunities that vary per calendar year
- Business Engagement – PPIE partners with PUSD to connect volunteers from businesses large and small to engage with students as class speakers, club mentors, and more
- Corporate and Donor Relations- learn how your company can give back to the community and support our schools
