The Pleasanton Partnerships in Education Foundation (PPIE) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting Pleasanton public schools (Fed ID #94-3046738). For over 25 years, PPIE has worked to enhance education throughout the Pleasanton Unified School District through a partnership of business, education and community. PPIE raises funds to support critical programs for our students that have been threatened in recent years by state budget cuts, and to fund projects enhancing educational excellence for all students.
PPIE proactively raises funds by:
- Managing the annual Giving Fund Campaign to supplement district-wide initiatives for smaller classes, literacy programs, technology and library specialists, counselors, and much more…
- Coordinating and managing donations from corporations and community leaders
- Organizing fundraising events including our annual Run for Education and our new Benefit Concert & Auction.
The PPIE Board relies on input from the Education Foundation Committee (EFC) in designing each year’s fundraising campaign to meet the needs of Pleasanton students, and from the Grant Committee recommendations for specific requests from students and faculty.
