Pleasanton Partnerships in Education (PPIE) Foundation is excited to announce the opening for an Events Manager responsible for coordinating PPIE’s Fall Gala and the Pleasanton Run for Education. The event manager will be responsible for facilitating PPIE’s two major events each year – Fall Gala and Pleasanton Run for Education – which generate a substantial portion of the PPIE annual budget. This is a contracted position for $20/hour (not to exceed $12,000 per year without approval). Work typically extends from August through April, with approximately 70% of those hours devoted to the Run event and with heavier workloads during the 6-8 weeks prior to each event.
