PPIE is a non-profit educational foundation that has combined local businesses and the community in supporting the Pleasanton Unified School District for over 25 years. In that time over four million dollars has been raised for student/teacher grants and to supplement major school district programs.

PPIE proactively raises funds by:

Coordinating and managing donations from corporations

Organizing events including our recent ‘Run for Education’ and every Fall a ‘Bon Appetit’ culinary gala

Managing the annual in-school parent donor program to supplement district wide initiatives including literacy programs, technology specialists, counseling, and class size reduction…

The PPIE Board relies on input from the Education Foundation Committee (EFC) consisting of representatives from each school and it’s Grant Committee for specific programs to support.

PPIE is always looking for more volunteers, donors, sponsors and partners. If you are interested in helping us help the students of Pleasanton, please call or email for further information.

Please Consider Supporting Our Efforts.

PPIE is pleased to announce the appointment of Susan Hayes as our new Executive Director. Susan comes to us with an impressive combination of skills in our top three focus areas: commitment to and understanding of education in Pleasanton, fundraising expertise, and excellent communication skills.

Susan will begin working with the PPIE Board, the Education Foundation Committee (parent reps), and our Interim Executive Director Rita Galvin to help us with next year’s Giving Fund goals as well as leading the organization through some Board development and visioning.

The PPIE Board wishes to thank Rita, and her husband Jay, for all their hard work helping us during this transition period. We couldn’t have done it without you!
