PPIE Executive Director Steve McCoy-Thompson said, “We are honored to support our amazing Pleasanton schools. Our contribution represents the great efforts of incredible volunteers, corporate sponsors and parents who enable our students, teachers and administrators to do outstanding work. We are also excited about the future – with our pivot focusing more on stronger school-site representation and business engagement in all that we do in the community.” Thank you to all of you for making this possible!
The funds from this donation to PUSD will be used in the 2017-18 school year for:
|3 Instructional Coaches (Literacy, Math and Technology)||$ 270,000|
|2 Hours of additional staffing per day at each elementary and middle school (principals were able to select between library assistant and site technology specialist hours)||$ 141,000|
|Technology needs and/or new class sections at Amador Valley and Foothill||$ 70,000|
|Village and Harvest Park and STEAM preschools||$ 5,000|
|Innovative Student and Teacher Grants||$ 37,000|
